| School Description |
The American Institute of Dental Assisting is an institution and training program developed by Dr. Eldon Hastings, a practicing dentist in Arizona for 35 years.
The institute offers a condensed, practical, hands-on course that teaches the basic skills necessary to assist the dentist in an entry-level position. Students are trained in a state-of-the-art dental office and will obtain knowledge and skills by practicing at chairside and in the laboratory.
The course covers areas in dentistry, i.e. dental charting, dental x-rays (digital), dental materials, preventive dentistry, dental anatomy and physiology, sterilization and infection control, instrumentation, clinical procedures, dental software, and effective writing of resumes and interviewing for employment. |
